Root [MetaMorph] color notification icons CM6

This is the first MetaMorph theme I have ever made. I liked it so I thought I would share. It gives you color notification icons. As always do a backup before you install.

* I take no credit for the icons. I simply put them into a MetaMorph that would work with my ROM of choice CM6. The system icons I got from xda-developers - View Single Post - Colored Notification Icons . The icons for gmail, messaging and email are the stock launcher icons resized to fit the notification bar. *

Obviously I'm rooted but my ROM is basically stock.

I took a look at a stock ROM and it looks like it should work. I don't have any phones running stock to test it on though. Just make sure you do a backup before you try it.

This doesn't work for me on CM6 nightly #167. Strange... when I go to apply these I get errors...

SubTheme Gmail.apk takes a loooong time (like 5 minutes) but then seems to apply fine.

SubTheme: com.google.android.gm-1.apk gives me this message: "The target /data/app/com.google.android.gm-1.apk does not exist, skipping..." And then the same with mms.apk, does not exist.

Then email.apk takes forever but no error, framework-res.apk takes forever with no error. Finally reboot the phone, and no change to the icons.

Not sure what I'm doing wrong...? Anyone else have this problem? Any ideas?

I don't know unless something is different in the framework. Im off tomorrow so I should have time to download the nightly and take a look at it. Did any of your icons change?

Nope, all still stock CM6 icons. The Metamorph did create files on my SD card with the icons in them, but that's about it. TIA for looking into it! The icons look great and would love to have them.

Another thing I thought of do you have S-off? I think you have to have s-off for it to work right.
