Where can I put my custom wallpapers so that I can view them through the WALLPAPER menu item from the "add to home screen" menu? I know I can just dump my wallpapers in the DCIM/Camera directory, but I would like to have all my wallpapers accessible from the actual wallpaper gallery.

Good question, i was wondering the same thing. Anyone know?

Just make a folder called Wallpaper and stick it in the root outside of your default picture folder. Don't know if you could do it without replacing the default wallpaper gallery. Of course doing it this way won't give you access through the wallpaper gallery but its the next best thing. Also it won't merge with your picture gallery doing it this way.

Yes, I know that. But I'd rather not have a list of actual subscribed threads in my subscription folder and would rather not activate email notifications every time someone comments. I just want to place hold it with a post so I can find it later. Is that acceptable? Or am I screwing your world up because I posted "subscribed" without actually clicking on the subscription button?

It's not that, it just adds no value to the posts and for people that do subscribe with e-mail notifications, we get extra mail we don't need.

Just like our posts are adding no value to this thread now - :p

On topic:

Someone did find the original wallpaper for the device.

Sorry for the bad form (posting on a thread thats a few years old). Found what I'd say is close to a solution for this. Create the wallpapers directory as indicated and then install JustPictures. Found it when I was looking for a better picture browser and then found out it added itself in the list of options along with Wallpaper Gallery and Live Wallpaper. It groups pics in their directories so its nice and painless.
