Email Client -limitations

Hi,
I am new to Android & just got my Samsung Galaxy Tab.

However, I would value some assistance with the Email Client.

1/ On a WM6.5 or BB device, you can set a limit to email downloads, such as 'headers only' or 2k and no attachments ect.

How do I set this with Android Email Client?
(my reason for asking is to speed up mail delivery on 3G network plus ensure my mobile broadband cap is not exceeded when people sent me 3gig files, which I might not want to download).

2/ How can I set to download to 'all email' (rather than max of month) & then choose which folders to sync.
The default appears to be max 1 month & I cannot find the option to 'subscribe/unsubscribe' to IMAP folders,

3/ Is there any way to set email delivery times, such as push between 7am & 11pm.... ?

The above was basic in Window WM device.

You should check out K-9 Mail. It's an enhanced version of the stock client with tons more features and bug fixes. And it's free and actively maintained/updated.

I use K9 with with GMail and Everyone.Nut without any problems. Actively maintained/updated though? I have seen nothing for a couple of months.

The mailing list is also very active for support and discussion of new features.

It's the big, well-polished releases that get pushed to the marketplace but it's still far more-actively updated than the stock client (which you'll only get an update for as part of a full phone update).
