Root What is the Nandroid backup directory on my SD Card?

I recently rooted my EVO 4G and I have made quite a few backups (call me paranoid but I did this since I read to ALWAYS back up before doing anything.) I have been using the MIUI rom as my first ROM.

I would like to know where my NANDROID backups are saved on my SD card as I have made quite a few and it has eaten up space on my SD card. I want to transfer the backups to my laptop so I can clear up some space on my SD card.

So, where is the directory, and also, are there any other files I should transfer over to be on the safe side?

Thank you,
Whiteice

There's nothing wrong with backing up a lot. Of course, if changes are minor, you may not always need to keep them all once you know things are stable. It's up to you. As long as you have at least one of every configuration you want to go back to quickly, you should be good.

Anyway:

Clockwork - /sdcard/clockworkmod/backup/(date-time) where "date-time" is the date and time that the nandroid backup was created. It will be a directory. Copy that whole directory to get the whole nandroid backup.

Amon RA - /sdcard/nandroid/(unique number)/(date-time) where "date-time" represents the same thing. It is also a whole directory that you need to copy over to get the whole backup.

In both cases, the directory will contain .img files. Make sure you copy all of them, and keep them in the directory.

Are you using Amon or Clockwork?

I know Clockwork has a file folder under its own name. Not sure about Amon.

Clockwork.

And I think I just found the folder on the SD card. It looks like it is under Clockword/Backup.

Are there any other files I need to backup to my PC or is this folder the only one?

Thanks,

Just that one. I also have a folder called rerware that I backup. I use an app called "My Backup Pro" to backup my apps, app data, and all of my phone numbers and texts. I use that when going from Rom to Rom.
