Root Messed my phone up ~help?~

After trying a patch for 2.2 to enable data, which didnt work:( then i re-install 2.1.

After the re install to back 2.1 the phone is chinesse (not a big deal i figured out how to change the language) and will not enable data. Also all the MDN, MIN, and SID info is gone (again not a big deal since i wrote it down before the 2.2 test install) and im not able to re-enter it in the progarmming menu, i just says "unable to set NV item".

Anyone have any thoughts or ideas? Im stumped:confused:

Do you still have that clockworkmood backup that you did during the Icarus installation? The one that I told you to make a copy of it in your computer. I believe its name is clockworkmod.

I can check in a little bit, but I'm pretty sure I never copied it to my PC. If I make a nand w/ CMW off my girlfriends acsend would I be able to apply that to mine?

I do not recommend that as your girlfriend's Metro service programming will also be transferred, and you will have service issues.

By service progamming do you mean the sid and min etc? Because I have those written down from my phone before I got in to this mess.

Please Revert back to Icarus as we are working on a port Codenamed: Beanbag, just chill! we got 3 devs on the job!

oh believe me, as soon as I get my working again its going back to icarus. :o

Any chance you could give us some info on the beanbag port?:D
