Help Facebook Not working with Ticker

I have had the phone for about a month and have not seen one single feed from Facebook show up on the ticker. My account has been added and the ticker settings are set for all notifications to come from Facebook. If I go onto Facebook myself I can see my notifications, so I know that I have them and they aren't showing up. Does anyone else have this problem, or know of a solution?

I got the continuum when it was first unveiled and face book has never worked. I never get alerts pushed to the phone and nothing has ever showed up in the ticker screen. And I do have all the accounts synced and checked to receive all notifications.
First of all, have you setup your synch like Weudel suggested?
"From your home screen hit menu> settings> accounts & sync hit add account and add your Facebook account there."

My facebook ticker updates were sporadic after syncing. There was no rhyme or reason to when they would come through (that I could tell, at least). Now I get an error every time I manually try to sync or the phone auto-syncs. Not a big deal. I can check updates through the app or browser. I'm just annoyed by the 'bugs' that keep popping up.

Thanks, that fixed gmail. It's odd how they have built in gmail to sync with gmail calendar, email, contacts, it will beep when you get new email but wont put it on the ticker. Adding the gmail as described above now will show gmail on the ticker, however, that can lead to having 2 gmail icons on the top showing new emails, and they can have a different number, go figure.

You can fix the double notification by going to your gmail app>settings>e'mail notifications (first option in the second section) and unchecking it. Then you will only get notifications from your generic mail.
Nope, you can't do it the other way, if you want ticker notification. The ticker works with the generic e'mail app, not the gmail app. I know. Stupid, ain't it?
