Help Apps on SD ?

Since the Optimus has 2.2, are the apps automatically installed on the SD card or do you have to install apps2sd to make that work ?

Android does not install apps to the card by default, you have to move them there. There are several ways...

App 2 SD Free is one of the better programs to help that happen, as it tells you as soon as the program is installed whether it can be moved to the card. Programs can also be moved individually through Applications under Settings via the Menu button.

Another free program people like is called SDMove, which color codes apps to show which can and cannot be moved.

SDMove has a separate related app called SDWatch which monitors new installs, if desired.
