Wanna get an Android - which one?!

Im new here and im really considering dumping Symbian for an Android.. Im due to upgrade on 18th jan (vodafone UK) And would like to know which phone is currently the best Android our and if any new handsets will be launched soon?

Vodafone offer the Tattoo and Magic.. Which is best?

I obv want bluetooth, wifi, gps etc... I currently have a Nokia N97.

There are many differant phones that do very similar jobs, it's all down to what you personally prefer.

What country are you in?

The "best" is an subjectiveidea. Do you want to watch movies or use it as an MP3 player? You'll need one with a big screen and storage space like the nexus one. Do you write alot of texts & emails? You'll need a hardware keyboard like the G1 or Milestone. Do you just want something small and stylish to use as a phone? Probably just want a Hero or Tattoo.

It might be worth waiting for a few months as well, as there are many phone schedule for Q1 2010, like the legend (which I will probably be getting). I would do some research yourself, work out what you want from the phone, and see what is availible now and what is coming up in the near future. You don't have to upgrade on the date your contract ends, you can just keep it rolling until your happy with what you want, remember, your probably gonna have this phone for a while, you need to make sure you have the right one.

You should go try the ones you're considering out in a shop, then you'll get a chance to see if it's right for you.
