Not really happy about atrix

I played with the atrix today at a store and lets just say that it's not really that great. I have the iphone 4g and I compared it to the atrix in many different ways. My iphone switches pages much faster and with no lag compared to the atrix. When i click to open an app its faster on my iphone. When comparing a speed test with it my download was faster around 80% of the time and my upload was faster on iphone 100% of the time. The unlock button is on the back of the atrix making it really annoying to unlock. If you use fingerprint scanner you have to still press the button and then scan your finger. If you put a big bulky case on atrix then its hard to swipe your finger on the scanner. Lets just say more ram and dual cores compared to my iphone is pathetic when compared next to each other. I don't understand how a dual core runs slower then the iphone.... Idc about any of your numbers and what it says unless you did what I did and do tests side by side you really can't talk trash about iphone.

I didn't know there was an Iphone 4G, you most likely mean an Iphone 4 which doesn't stand for 4G.

I went from an Iphone 3GS to the Atrix and so far I'm very pleased with it.

And since you tested ...one...Atrix I dont see how you can trash talk it too...

Like with any review, dont go off of one persons experience. There are ppl that dont like the Droid X, the Incredible, the EVO, etc. say it sucks at this n that.....but for the majority its the best phones they ever had.

Anyway folks, just go in stores and play with one too. I'm inclined to go with the majority of reviews that had good things to say, clips that showed good scrolling.

I played with WP7, the iPhone 4 and Android side by side recently. WP7 scrolls smoother and faster than both. Doesnt mean I want a WP7 or means its better to me. Just means it scrolls smoother n faster...

I just set mine up, and it's incredibly quick. I'll be doing a comparison of it vs. my Captivate and the wife's iPhone 4 in the near future.

Sorry should i test 20 atrix phones? Because last time I checked they all are the same thing and if one runs slow they should all run slow. I tested it right out of the box with nothing new installed. I'm just trying to write a review about what I thought of the phone so when other people test out the phone for themselves then they can take what I said into consideration. Sorry if I'm trying to give an honest review...

Should also warn you the atrix comes with 10.4 of memory out of the box not even close to 16

I tested both phones on speed test on 10 different locations and twice on both locations.... Its not a biased opinion when 80% of time Iphone is faster on download speed and 100% of the time was faster on upload speeds

So did you actually buy one ? or your statement was based on the store display? If you don't have one, please do not trash talk about it..I also have an iPhone "4G" and I prefer the Atrix !

I couldn't get it none were on sale I have to wait till tomorrow. But he did open it brand new out of box. I was playing with it for like 4 hours sorry i cant write a review on it unless i own it not even if I play with the phone for hours?

Ok, well in that case looks like the iPhone 4 is the best phone to have....until the iPhone 5 comes out. Or better yet....ppl have the choice of the iPhone 4 and the Atrix for an overall good experience. Whatever someone likes about the Atrix, they will be fine. Whatever someone likes about the iPhone 4, they will be fine.

Because what determines what phone you will like, what phone you will consider the best is the cons you can live with.

Guys even though the kid (OP) sounds dumb, and didn't really make any real points he is right, the Atrix is not an iPhone 4 killer. I have one.

*It should be important to note, that I also ordered an Atrix 4G* this is just because i'm a rare breed (gadger lover) I'm no fanboy, i like to keep myself educated on all the differences of all the different products and Environments Windows phone 7, iOS, android etc.

the Atrix has many flaws, but it's still a good phone, and could be WAY better once we can Rom it.

but that's just the thing, should'nt it be decent out of the box? how many consumers out there actually want to go through the trouble of Rooting/Rom'ing etc etc. Rooting so you can have a decent backup solution, and a laundry list of features.

And why does the Nexus S the only model that has 2.3 out of the box? the list goes on, but we WON'T get into that here.

The Atrix is a great phone, it's not horrible at all. I think once you can put a build on it that actually takes advantage of the Tegra 2 it will be even better (why they released a phone that doesn't even really use the power of the tegra 2 just boggles my mind) maybe for marketing purposes?

i believe this is the very definition of trolling

to everyone else, you must remember that the iPhone OS still has something that Android is lacking. and that is hardware acceleration. this has been implemented into Honeycomb and i'm hoping it gets put into 2.4 for devices with dual-core. if not, then def Ice Cream.

The atrix has better speakers takes better pictures and video streaming quality is better... No phone is the best every phone has its flaws. All I was trying to do was name those flaws so when people go check out the phone they can think of them when they try it for themselves. Iphone to me is getting old I like new things so I will be picking up atrix.

Guys dont burn the Guy! As you can see by his post count...He's Brand New! So what if he says the iphone4 is faster....lol, it just might be the truth! at&t really led us to believe they were rolling out 4G with the release of this phone...Come on, we all know that's BS, they cant even get they're 3G rolling right most of the time. The phone looks good spec wise on paper, however like all new releases there will be bugs and what not present with the first few batches. Take these reviews for what they're worth...Somebody elses opinion, and nothing more. The only thing that counts is yours, and the only to find out how it works is to use one for alot more then an Hour inside a store.

Hey, if there was a such thing as the perfect phone.....we would all have it.

Even with the iPhone 4 on AT&T, everyone didnt get one.

I'm just upset with this phone thats all. When the specs blow the iphones out of the water I guess I just expected more. I expected it to be phenomenal. You all have to admit that the hype that was built for this and all new phones is kind of crazy. All im trying to say here is not believe everything on paper just because it sounds amazing doesnt mean it really is...
