I was only half kidding, why not have the glass door as the screen? best use of space, evar. :)

Speaking of the "smart house", sometimes modern versions of low tech is better. We can get blinded by technology and might be why smart houses are still only a dream for most of us.

Example is what a tiny country with an abundance of one resource and lots of technology might do. Iceland has lots and lots of natural steam, no need to burn fuels or heat water, it's already hot. So after generating electricity with that steam they transfer the waste heat to clean cold water and then from the same plant will ship electricity, cold water, and hot water as utilities. OK, now we don't need hot water heaters or furnaces. But we have a modern version of the old fashion radiator for heat. So speaking of "smart" bath, they have that. But not a computer, just a dial instead of a knob for the faucet. You set the dial for the exact temperature and in you go. Same for the heat in the house, kitchen faucet, and towel dryer. Instant heat at the temperature you want.

After using that hot water several times it is still warm after leaving the house or business. So on the way to the sewer system they heat the sidewalks and streets to keep the ice and snow melted. Brilliant....
