Car Visor Mount

Has anyone ran across a simple visor mount/holder that would work for the Motorola Droid? I am not looking for anything elaborate. I would want to reach up and answer the phone and use the phones speaker mode for talking or can be easily removed. Something basically like the bluetooth speakers they have for visors. I am surprised I have not been able to find one.

Okay, here's one idea for you. Don't use anything to start the droid.
Buy the car dock and strap IT! You will be those elastics that people use in the bottom of jugging pants. You will see just where to strap the car dock once you buy it. Once its strapped down nicely all you will have to do is SNAP it right in. AND, if you don't like the option when when the phone snaps in it will go to the navigation screen, just remove the middle part of the car dock and take out the magnet. Try it you will love it.

So your answer is you don't know so you choose to answer a question I didn't ask?

My answer is that the car dock does exactly what you need. but allows you to use the phone the way it was built.

But by all means do try and flame me a bit more next time.

Oh and the reason you can't find one is because it is a bad idea and is unsafe for driving. I mean do you drive with the visor down all the time? Otherwise you can't see the phone to answer it.

I use the car dock and the phones speaker to take calls all the time, works great.

perfect!! thanks man. im gonna get this

also if you buy it from fommy.com, use the code YEAR2010.. you'll get 10% off AND free shipping. comes to 18 bucks

Please let me know how it works out, I would like to clear up my windshield when not using the Navigation. Currently I have my DROID, my fiance's iphone (when she is in the car) 1 laser/radar detector, 1 laser/radar scrambler, and Sirius S50. It is pretty crowded.

yea i just ordered it so maybe ill get it sometime next week. i hear ya on having shit on the windshield.. im against it, except for my radar detector thats all thats on there. i have a proclip mount for my gps/droid for my vent but id like to have my droid right on the visor so i can quickly tap it to see a text or answer a call. i wonder if it allows you to slide it open while in the mount too.

i will definitely post up when i get it.

crp you could clear a lot of that off your dash with the droids apps. pandora is better than sirius imo and free, you can run trapster when you drive eliminating the need for both radar detectors/scramblers and your fiance needs to get a droid and keep it in her lap :)

idk.. no app can beat my combination of my escort 9500ix radar detector and laser interceptor laser jammers.

I use the "Bracketron" in my Corrado (no in-dash NAV like in my other car):
