Hi all,
I have been using the Sprint HTC hero for a few months now and love it....so my wife decided she wanted to try out an Android phone but could not live with out the physical keyboard.
Anyway, I was wondering if I could get some help with what to do first. Are there any major fixes I need to do or apps I need to download like with the Hero?
I did read about draining the battery all the way and then charging it back all the way.
Any insight would be greatly apprecaited.
Thanks!

Yes, do that battery thing a couple times.

I've like "ultimate faves" so far for a cool 'hero like' experience. I love the barcode scanner and Shopsavvy, and OH SO COOL = Shazzzam! I am always hearing something new on the radio and wanting to know what the heck the name of the song is. Just be careful in the car!

Oh, and SMS Pop.

Barcode Scanner is sweet but for comparative shopping on the go the CNet Scan & Shop program is awesome. It gives you a list of places you can get it on the web and their prices and if you have GPS reception it will give you local places and their price too.

Only drawback to the CNet program is that it won't read QR-Code, still need barcode scanner for that.

You should do the battery thing with any phone you get not just the moment

Shopsavvy does both. It has the exact same format as CNet (with more results, judging from the reviews) and also supports QR-Code now.;)
