Root Install non supported applications

Hello, I have heard that non supported applications for my phone will not appear on android market. Is there a way around this and install those applications still?

Download these applications to your pc and then copy to your mobile's sdcard.Now browse your sdcard with your mobile and just click on that application and it will install.

Just go to Settings > Application > Unknown Sources (Allow installation of non-Market applications) -- get it turned on. You can install application from your pc only if this option is turned on else app manager will reject installation.
