I hit 70 hours of battery life yesterday...

With the extended Moto battery, rooted, stock 2.2.340 all bloat froze via Titanium Back Up, screen brightness at an acceptable 20% or so, 30% wifi/70% 3G. I probably could have gotten a few more hours as it was at 12% when I plugged it in. I am not a heavy user. 10-15 minute talk per day, 20-50 texts per day, 20 minutes of Market, 30-60 minutes of internet per day. I never got this much life with any rom. Just thought I would share that.

I hit 70 hours with stock rom, extended battery and 90 minutes of calls a few weeks ago.

Unfortunately I had to reboot b/c of a FC'ing app (unusual) or I would have taken a screenshot of the battery breakdown. I'm OC/UV at 1250.

What app is that above?

Put the stock batt back in. I could only muster 42 hours or so, but I played Angry Birds Rio quite a bit.

How are you guys doing this am on an extended battery and am still not getting any where close to that.

Not using their phone.

You guys know if you click display and phone calls from the battery use page it tells you how long the display was on and how long you were on phone calls.

Those 3 screen shots, along with the brightness %age, are necessary to make any conclusion about battery life. Anything else that gets posted is basically useless.

I still find it very impressive still that they would get 70+ hrs without using their phones. I only got around 35hrs on my Nexus One and 28 hrs on my Atrix. Of course both of these were never rooted, lol...I'm thinking that might be the reason XD

I guess I am not doing to bad. I am running Apex 1.4 and I have my display up to 32% Cell Standby up to 21% and Voice right behind it with 20%. I have been unplugged for 16h and still at 50%. So it seems to be par for the course which makes me happy. ;)

But what have you done w/ your phone? Thats my question. Do you guys just turn them on and leave them on the end table for 70 hours w/out touching it? Thats the only way you could get that kind of battery life imo.

Personally, as of right now, I just flashed my phone to a factory reset and placed Apex 1.4 and the theme on it and I have spent the entire time either talking on my phone or setting the desk top back up.

I use my phone for work and personal reasons and used it for a good part of yesterday. I also came home and spent the entire night setting up the screens the way I wanted to and shopping on the market for apps to finish out the install of the ROM all while having WIFI on.

I am not saying I am the best at this, I just know that killing aps and making sure your only using what you need to use when your using your phone and getting rid of the stuff 100% after your done using it you should see a significant increase in battery life. Task managers are your friend... use them frequently. :p
