I just received a new version of the Kevi case. This one is supposed to be a tighter fit and he has replaced the cardboard inserts with a plastic one.
While the ports for charging are not exposed and you need to open the case for charging, this really works for me.
I travel a lot and tend to close the case and keep my headphones on listening to music. having the audio jack exposed is more important since I can slide the xoom on its side and keep it next to my armrest while sleeping. I dont have to worry about someone taking it while asleep. The choice of leather is of good quality as well. Stitching is clean and consistent and it feels and looks like a high end day planner.
Another area of appreciation is the fact that they are improving the case and he understands the importance of customer service.
I received frequent updates from kevin on the status of the case during weekends and he replied to my emails late at night. This was due to the delay of the order. He sent me an email letting me know that he was making changes to the case, what they were and would let me know when it shipped. He followed up on all areas.
Good product + Good customer communication = great experience. I will by again from him.
