Unllimited Loyalty plan

I wish they would offer plans that are actually suited to specific longtime customers. I'm not a big talker, so offering me unlimited minutes is silly. I don't use the 300 anytimes minutes I get with my 39.99 MyFaves plan. I barely use any non-MyFaves minutes. I don't need unlimited minutes for $10 more a month, although taking $10 off my entire bill might make me more loyal, or make me upgrade to the unlimited text data plan for the G1.

They've got the data, they should be able to see what services I use the most, why not offer a group of loyalty plans? Heavy data? -Here's your loyalty plan. Heavy caller? Here's your loyalty plan. Heavy Texter? Here's your loyalty plan. Been with T-Mobile 5+ years? Hell, you get a free month every year, or maybe you get your text messages fees waved for your birthday month, or just get a 5-15% loyalty discount every month.

Adding to Punk's good ideas...steal the ideas the other company's have...rollover minutes, phone credits, accessories, etc. I applaud them trying and hope maybe this is the beginning.

Now that I think about it...what would be best would be a "choose your own" loyalty plan. I also qualify many times over as a long time customer and don't plan on switching to the plan which would end up costing me more.

It is rather funny ... I have been with them since 2000 under VoiceStream..
When I have a problem the give me like 50 anytime minutes .. which is nothing because I never go over the 600 in my plan ....

So taking 5 - 10% off the bill would be better ... because giving me more minutes ... is giving me nothing in effect ..

What I found was an "Employee/Member Migration Form" ...

from what I can tell you would migrate your service to the Corporate Account(if there is one) ... (i dont believe we have TMO but use ATT) ...
then it might be 2 full billing cycles be you see any discount also need a company promo code ...

Did you find something for just private acct holders ... ??

There are some searches that showcase discount codes for tmobile service. Albeit some service requirements. Those posts explain more.

Something else to research, is that Tmobile is paired up with a lot of major corporations to offer discounts. These do get you at least 10% off of your MRC. I don't believe there is a public list of these companies, but a quick call to CC or a trip to the store would net the answer. If you go to the store, be sure you bring in some form of ID proving you work for the company. Business card, Company Badge, pay stub, etc. As well as a phone number for the company.

I know this doesn't relate to loyaty, but 10% is 10%.
Yeah i work for fedex and i get a 10% discount from them :)

The unlimited loyalty plan was excellent for me as I use mine for business and use around 1500 minutes a month. It is saving me a crap load of money.

I do agree though, that they need to find a compromise plan for those who do not use so many minutes and thus the plan makes no sense.

The other nice thing is this has made it finally possible to get rid of my home phone.

They aren't stupid. Why do you think they call it a loyalty plan? It is so YOU are loyal to THEM. Not because you WERE loyal.

But I agree if you are a user like yourself with a big minutes plan and a home phone, this saves a boatload.
