Help 1102 build captivate soft bricked. jig doesnt work

Hello forum. I have captivate 1102 build. IT stuck in the phone--!--pc screen. Just bought a jigg and it doesnt go to download mode. Any ideas? Does anyone have a similar problem? Iam gonna buy another jig from another vendor just to verify its not the jig. I doubt its the jig but I gotta try it anyways. Any help would be much appreciated.

Have you removed the Battery and then replaced and tried Jig and it still won't go to Download? If so I would think the Jig is indeed Bad.
