I just got an email that the Seidio 3200 mAh battery is available with replacement battery door. Price is $69.95. The description says:
It has up to double the capacity of the original battery and comes with a black replacement door featuring Seidio's signature soft touch coating
I just wanted to pass this along in case anyone's interested, but at $70.00, I think I'll wait until I see some others have to say.

If you have the 2750 mAh from Verizon, I don't think there's really a need for this battery.

As of late I've been able to focus on how much up time I have with the 2750 on an unrooted phone and on average I have about 16 hours of decent use.

It could be that Seidio's putting this out because there is such a high demand for the 2750 (it's almost always out of stock at verizonwireless.com) and they're trying to capitalize on it. They should focus more of their efforts on releasing the extended battery cases though.

I have a rooted TBolt with DAS BAMF 1.6.2 installed. I also have the HTC 2750 mAh battery and it feels good in the hand. The fact that it's bigger than stock IS offset by the fact that the battery lasts WAY longer than the stock, and for a heavy user like myself, it's well worth the size difference.

Just sayin'...

When I saw pics of the extra bulk the official 2750 battery added, I thought it looked pretty bad, too. But I just couldn't take the puny battery life of the stock battery, so I bought the 2750. After using it for a while, the extra bulk really isn't all that bad at all. Really, I think pictures and videos make it look a lot worse than it is. The extra battery life more than makes up for it, though.

I dunno if this 3200 battery sticks out further, though, or if it's the same size as the 2750. Either way, like I said, it's really not as bad as it looks just from seeing it through pictures.

I thought the 'big hump' looked pretty ugly too but it actually make a nice place to rest the phone on my ring finger so the phone doesn't slide out of my hands while typing, ect.

Besidea, I HATE trying to use the phone with that darn power cord plugged in. I love the long battery life of the extened.

I got the 2750 at htcpedia.com shop for $59

Thanks, I should have used Google. This pic right here just kills it for me:

How can someone live with that? I would rather just charge my phone a couple times per day rather than deal with that huge bump.

I went into the store to order the extended battery the other day and the guy said that verizon is offering 50% off since they know they are having issues. I got my extended 2750 battery for $25! It was a no brainer. My stock battery just started acting better. I could take it to about 7-8 hours, but this 2750 is a lot better. The battery life in my old blackberry bold sucked too and now I can be free of that charger. Now to wait for an extended case....

I was told that only the 1400's were half off and that the extended battery was full price.
