HTC MAGIC 1.5 version on Rogers

As many of you already know the current users of the HTC Magic are not very happy with having only the 1.5 version but as we all know Rogers is supposed to be bringing us an updated version. The only gripe I find that most people have is the accessing of apps in the Marketplace and not having the OS to support them. Yes unfortunately the phone does not have the updated software to support it, but I still think that it is an overall great phone. Rogers just needs to stand by this product and support it through thick and thin so that it is updated on a need to basis and that Rogers Customers are able to experience the full benefits of what this operating system has to offer. Please give any feedback and thoughts and ideas. Thanks!

HTC will be suppling an OS upgrade to the magic by mid year. This upgrade will be Android 2.1 with HTC's Sense UI. Yes Rogers could be doing more to lean on Google to get us paid market apps but, it is Google, not Rogers that has to open up the paid market for us.

Actually in the next week are so we are getting sense UI but our version will still be 1.5 then later this year we get 2.1
