Gingerbread Check In!

Sorry for the noob post, but where do I go to find the update?

Im in settings and checking for firmware update but nothings there, im in wichita Kansas btw.
 
Downloaded and installed - ver 4.22.651.2. Haven't noticed any changes yet. I use Launcher Pro and it looks fine.

Question- When I did the froyo update I didn't hard reset before. Do you guys recommend hard reset after update?

I'm runnin an app thaat is no longer available on the market, but I wanna keep. Any ideas on how to keep the apk or back it up? It's not an app that can be moved to the sd card.
 
Well I don't notice much of a difference. No new camera app, browser is different...still need to play with it more to see if anything is different. But, from what I've seen from the 2.3 reviews, we don't have those changes.
 
Took over six minutes on 4G to try and start the download, but it wouldn't start.

Gonna have to get on wifi later today :rolleyes:

go to settings, system updates, then HTC software updates..hit the check fo update on the bottom and WALLA you will be blessed with the presence of GINGERBREAD!
 
OK JUST GOT IT!!!!! Palms SPrings, California had to turn my phone off this morning and turn it back on, the checked for an update and there it was. It is fast on WIFI. 50% in about 1 min
