Now that the initial release is done... I have an early upgrade pending.

I am wondering what Android phones are on the horizon?

From what I know... there's the Moto Bionic and the Galaxy S2. Anything else coming?! The current crop of LTE phones doesn't make me tingle...

Those seem to be the only ones anything has been mentioned. It seems to be a safe bet that you'll hear about tiered data plans before hearing about those phones, however.

Great topic as I am in the same boat. I have been eligible since February coming off of a 1yr deal w/ the Incredible. I am anxiously awaiting round two of LTE devices. Honestly, for all the bad battery devices HTC puts out, I am still a bit of a phanboy. However, I skipped out on the Thunderdud. I am hoping VZW puts out an LTE Sensation variant. I would guess in the next 3-4 months we should see an SGSII variant, LG 2x and HTC Sensation.

I did test drive the Samsung Charge for 2 weeks. Wasn't a fan at all.

I don't think the D3 is LTE.

I have 3 requirements for a phone 1.)Verizon 2.) Physical Keyboard 3.) LTE 4.) Message Notification light
(I didn't think I would have to list but with the Samsung Charge now I feel like I have to. I don't think I have to list "runs on battery" but that is a requirement as well. How can they leave off the notification light?)

Any idea when they'll be a phone that meets my needs?

The Charge has no light? I don't really like them because I'm just too obsessive/compulsive to just let it blink when I'm busy, but I'm surprised it doesn't.

I'm in a business where I need to respond immediately to customer requests. So no light would make me too obsessive/compulsive because I would have to lock at the unlocked screen constantly.

There is a while host of apps that are being developed to work around the lack of the light on the Samsung Charge but you know what would work best? An actual light.

I was surprised too, I was actually about compromise on the keyboard and purchase the device when I noticed what I thought was the light was actually a cam. Then spent the next 5 minutes with the rep looking for the light, then he spent the next 15 minutes calling and looking online to confirm there is no light.

Looking 3 months down the road it looks like I am going to have to compromise on the keyboard.

Unless someone has any info to the contrary.
