Does this sound comparable to what others are getting out of battery life for the Droid Charge?

I've had my Droid Charge for about 3 days now. So far today it has been unplugged for 9 hours since this morning and it is now at 42%. Since this morning I have checked my email, Facebook, and Twitter numerous times, downloaded a few apps, uninstalled other apps, checked the news multiple times, looked at multiple forums using the web browser, and organized some contacts and browsed old text messages.

I have the brightness set to about 20% and have background data and auto syncing turned off. 4g data has been running all day.

Is this good, bad, or average compared to what others have been getting out of their Droid Charges? Also will the battery life get -better- or -worse- with time?

Thanks for your input!

I tried this over the weekend. Turn off the mobile data (GS, email,...etc) and use it as a cell phone only all day saturday. Then saturday night when online (4G connection for about 1 hr (maybe 50 minutes)...then, left the mobile data on (by mistake) overnight. Turn off mobile data first thing Sunday morning. By Sunday evening, battery is abt 30%.
so approx. 36 hrs of cell phone(make about 15 calls...2-3 mins long each), 1 hr of internet use and 8 hrs of mobile data on/standy, and use up 70% of my battery....

I think that's pretty good....granted I was NOT at any place that get very week signal thru' out the 36 hrs....

I spent last weekend in a 3G only area and turned off 4G when I got up there. At the end of a 13 hour day, I had 53% battery signal, and that was after numerous phone calls, email checking, light web browsing. Brightness at 20%.

Back at home with 4G, I'm below 50% at the end of the day.

The battery is the worst part about the Charge, but I keep a few micro USB cords lying around and have a spare battery on my dock at home.

Went to the Verizon store and they gave me 20% off on the new extended battery and the new back for it. Made the phone a little thicker but easily doubled my battery life. Worth the dollars. I think we've all got to remember that these are Android PC's with a phone built in and it is what it is.
