Make my Phone exciting

I have the Huawei Ascend from Metro and honestly i'm bored with it. I see that from being on here the past few days that a lot of you know what you are talking about. I just want a more fun and faster phone without having to buy a new one. I am pretty good at following instructions. My phone is already rooted I followed the instructions from Tokenpoke (a user on here). I use FB and twitter alot so if you have suggestions for "best apps" I would appreciate that. I currently use the lame web it came stocked with and that is sooooooo slow. I do not mind trying different things. I want like games, music, organizers and if there is something I can do to make it overall fast im down. I also cant do ANYTHING while im on a call is there something I can do to change it? Just let me know what to do....im just bored and by the looks of it i'm going to be in the hospital all night so playing around with the phone will keep me busy until my friend has her baby!

Maybe give some of these a go...

See if you can fix up your phone a bit - Read about CacheMate, Auto Memory Manager, and SD-Booster (kudos to nuttmeg for those tips.)

Beautiful Widgets, Power Widgets, Open Home, etc. - lots to play with here. Look through all the options and you'll see all kinds of stuff to customize your homescreens. I've been flipping back and forth through some of them, and am using Beautiful Widgets again for the fullscreen-sized facebook widget.

Simple Text - make your own custom text icons. I went to www.1001freefonts.com and got some fonts there to play with.

And don't forget the free games.

He's got the right of it here. If you really don't like the way your phone performs, or just feel like it should be something better, that's the right place to go.
