Huawei accend just not up to par

Hey I had it with this phone never again will I buy a cell phone made from huawei accend sure cm7 made it better thanks you dev's for your support but this phone hardware can only be push so hard but the fact is if the phone can't play angry birds smooth like butter or support flash then the phone isn't for me this phone with all the hacks an mods just don't cut I have been loyal to the things I invest in but once you get ahold of somthen better well its like coming from HD TV back to black an white television goodbye huawei accend hello Samsung galaxy T-Mobile 4g

I hour you enjoy your Galaxy. But you can't compare the two. The Ascend is up to par. WHAT DO YOU EXPECT FROM A $100 ANDROID? You definitely got more than what you paid for! Angry Birds runs fine for me, now it does run better on my HTC Incredible (it's a $500 phone, it better run smoother). And for Flash blame Adobe, they are the ones that changed their mind about supporting the Arm6 processor.

You should have done your research first before you bought it or said something along the lines of "I've decided to upgrade. The Ascend was a great phone for it's price. But even though the devs of CM6 and CM7 (Thank you for your hard work!) But I've decided I want more, running Angry Birds smoother and being able to play Flash."
I CAN say this from experience because I did get a HTC Incredible but I still play with my Ascend and keep it around to help other people out with it.

I do hope that you get your moneys worth out of your new phone and service but please don't bash a great phone, there are a lot more people that are happy with it, even with it's limitations.

I agree with you 100%. He is one of many who would buy a Ford Fiesta and bitch because it's not a Mustang. If he wanted a Mustang, he should have shelled out the bucks for one. And I know it's petty but his spelling isn't up to par either, it's Ascend not Accend.

I don't see how you can substantiate saying that the phone is "worthless". Is it as fast or powerful as many other Droid phone? No. Does it run fairly well and do what it's designed to do? Yes. I would only agree that it was worthless if it did not function at all.

This is why only a small minority of people are PAID to be critics.....The Ascend, for what it cost and what has been done to it by the devs, is a magnificent phone. You can't compare a Honda Civic to a Nissan Skyline (or the aforementioned Ford Fiesta to a Ford Mustang), they're not even remotely in the same class, so of course the Skyline is going to wow you by comparison.

Nobody's telling you that you're wrong for thinking your new phone is better, but you are wrong in saying that the Ascend is not up to par when what you're comparing it to is not even in the same class. You might as well put a high school football team on the field against an NFL team and then tell us how much the high school team sucks for losing.

Sorry but the ascend for 100 bucks is an awesome android phone, and great for beginners. As far as a Galaxy S class goes, thats like comparing Apples to Watermelons. Of course so is the price. You are not going to find a Galaxy S device anywhere without signing a contract for the price of the ascend.

To compare the two is not even a fair comparison. If you want to compare a Galaxy S device then compare it to a HTC Evo or something, not to an Ascend.

I got the DX 1.) because it was a $.01 for it and Verizon because Metro just has 1x in my area. In situations were I need to do sumtin from my phone 1x dont cut it lol.

I absoluty agree with you the cm6/7 was great it convince me that this phone was robust but the fact that cricket 3g is slow,had to many fringe areas my main use for this phone wich was data couldnt help me,an that the hardware was limited lack of ram an outdated kernel but overall this phone was my first android phone it did please me in the beginning an alot others

i have been phone shopping again the last 2 days, and i seen the DX 2, but man i hate contracts...

Not sure where you are located, but i look here on my local online ads like Craigslist, and i can find DX, DX2, Evo, Evo Shift for under 300..DX2 goes for around 300, but the DX, and Evo's go for 200-225..and there are lots of people that can flash them to Metro...

i have the HTC Evo 4G, but the thing with metro is there 4g not nationwide yet even tho it covers everywhere whereim at now in the dallas area, but i thought about just flashing it to metro but dont want a disappointment after i do it...
