Root [ROM] Liquid GingerBread 2.0

Tried it earlier today. It downloaded and installed fine, but got stuck in a boot loop. After numerous tries (including a battery pull) I gave up on it.

Had problems with 1.92 when it came out so I reverted to 1.90 I was using before. After a while I got bummed with it too and returned to my always-reliable CM 7.03. I do like Liquid and SS roms but I guess they don't like my Droid.

Got this ROM installed, and after using it for a few days as far as I can tell, multi tasking is fixed, pandora no longer cuts out on me while im using the browser as well. And I also haven't had a problem with losing my 3G signal. And the music isn't skipping anymore All HUGE Improvements!

One issue i am having is if i change my maximum overclocking speed to 1.1GHz it resets back to 600MHz if i reboot.....not a huge deal but it does do that.

I replaced GPA15 with this and have been quite happy so far. Did have one lock-up yesterday but that was under a very low battery condition.

Seems like it is quite smooth and fast. It is making my move off of the droid take a bit longer. I want a phone with a bigger screen (Charge) and one that does not have a keyboard, as I find the original droid keyboard 100% useless.

Un-check "set on boot", set your frequency, re-check set on boot.

Don't clear Davlik cache when you install. I had the same issue on a previous ROM.

I'll give this a shot today. Simply Stunning was running great, but it went back to "unreliable" territory. If this one doesn't work, it's back to Froyo. Just not enough RAM for a GB ROM I'm afraid.

Same here... SS was working awesome and then overnight I started having to do battery pulls b/c the phone would lock up answering calls, using the browser, etc.

To be fair, my phone just might be nearing the end of it's useable life. I'd get a new phone, just have no idea what to get. I'd like to wait until more LTE phones come out. If anyone has any phone suggestions let me know.

I'm with Jeffrey. SS, LGB, CM, etc...they are all running out of steam. We expect so much more from our Droids. They have the heart but they don't have the muscle. I am eligible for a new phone in July, but there is no Verizon phone that appeals to me. Seems like all the hot android phones are going to Sprint (no coverage), AT&T (no way), or T-Mobile (about to become AT&T AND no coverage). What's a guy gotta do? I guess I have to wait for the Bionic, if it ever surfaces for real.

For the most part, this ROM is working excellent on my OG. Been a while since my Droid has been this consistently fluid. Even getting pretty good battery life. Only problem I'm having, and I'm not completely sure it's ROM related, is my browser keeps locking up. I'll be navigating to a page, it'll take forever to load fully, making very choppy scrolling. Then it'll get to about 89% and stay there. So I may try to back out, but then everything freezes; no haptic feedback, nothing. This happens whether using stock, xScope, Dolphin HD, or Skyfire.

As I stated, it may not be ROM related. The browsing experience on my Droid has diminished greatly over the past couple months, whether on 3G (which often goes down to 1x) or WiFi. Haven't been over to DF to see if this is a trend for any other LGB 2.0 users.
