goodbye tbolt... its been a not so fun ride and i cant wait for the fix if it even does fix the random reboots... they are sending me a charge in place so a final goodbye tbolt...:( i wanted to love the phone but after the hassles its not worth it to me anymore.

I suggest the admins start a thread for all peeps saying good bye to the bolt. When a new good bye bolt thread is started just merge it.

I don't mind people making one last post to let others know what they have done. I would appreciate more detail as to why they are getting a different phone. I believe it helps less involved tbolt owners validate issues they may be having.

I have an apple tv 2nd gen. Worked perfectly for 3 days and then the home sharing issues started. I was able to find an awesome forum in the apple discussions forum that showed me I wasn't the only one. It also pointed to some temp solutions until an update is rolled out.

People that spend a grip of time on the boards get tired of new threads about issues that in their minds are old. It seems most people are only interested in rooting and roming the phone. Constant posts from people who think they are cool because they flash a new rom daily seem to have the same stuck up attitude as the apple fan boys. A vast majority of android users will never root or rom their phone. They just want a device that works (i.e. my mom, mother and father in law, and grandfather all rockin the droid x).

The tbolt has quickly gotten a bad rep in the online community because of the reboots and battery life. Hating on people who return the phone for one of these reasons is lame.

Keep in mind that apple is waiting to embrace the jaded android users with a cozy, safe ecosystem and an OS that require very little skill to use.

Have fun with your Charge OP. I'll be spending the 4th of July enjoying my TB...listening to a little iheartradio, HBO GO, and surfing the net! Is the TB still the only phone on Verizon that allows you to talk and surf the net at the same time non-wifi?

So far, yes. Though they don't advertise that since it doesn't work well consistently. I've tried it. Worked ok, little slow.

Welcome to the club. You won't regret your decision. It has been completely refreshing to not have to worry about when and during what my phone will die.

I was wondering when you're going to respond to this thread.

I'm in San Diego and 4g was JACKED for 12 days. I totally get why he switched to the Charge. A working phone is worth more to most people than being a fan boy of a specific device (apple products excluded).

My Tbolt is working as it should now but battery life is still shite if your a power user.

Now if you want to root and rom the shite out of your phone you might get a couple more hours out of the battery. Reality is everyone know the battery life is something you have to live with.
