Lurker
ok so im reading the how to root my droid x2 pages and they all say i lose my APN info.. what is this. how do i get it back and whats the big deal?

more details please !

There is no gsm on verizon so you dont have to worrry about ne thing and rooting this device is easiest thing youll ever do. install the gingerbreak apk onto your phone then go to app and hit root and your done.

I rooted my phone (dx2) with ginger break, all went well. Installed titanium and froze a few apps. After 4 hours I was suddenly unable to make any calls or access my contacts... it just goes right to the home screen. So any thoughts on how I may have screwed this up? PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!

I don't have the DX2 yet (currently on DX), but you could try simple fixes such as dialing *228 or unfreezing apps you have frozen one by one to see if one of these could be the culprit.

unfreeze anything that says Yahoo

I had same problem on my old Droid X. I am sure if you unfreeze everything it will work after a reboot. be more discriminatory before freezing/removing apps.

If this is still an issue, unfreeze an item one at a time until your back up. That way you can figure out which app is the issue. And like previously mentioned, unfreeze any Yahoo app. Let us know
