The Next Galaxy 7" Tablet: Proper Terminology?

I've pretty much decided to move from my iPod to the next Galaxy 7" tablet if/when it comes out, but I'm having trouble locating articles on it.

"Galaxy Tab 7" returns a *lot* of hits, but they're mostly about the existing 7" Galaxy tablet (that runs Android 2.2).

What I'm waiting for would run 3.something and hopefully have some additional features over the current one (like ANT+).

Can anybody supply the correct term of art that specifically identifies the next 7" Galaxy tablet?

I don't think they're making another 7 incher. But you could instead get this: ‪Huawei MediaPad - 7inch Android 3.2 Tablet‬‏ - YouTube
Third quarter?

I guess the only thing to do is sit back and wait to see what shakes out.

I agree 100% with the respondents that point out that 7" is small enough to fit in a pants pocket, but large enough to browse web pages.

I also find it a lot more usable for reading maps than an iPod-sized screen - having fooled around with Magellen's 7" dedicated GPS.

I guess the makers like Apple and Samsung have done all sorts of marketing research on this - and decided pocketability isn't a significant feature... but it sure is for me.

OTOH, I guess half the market is women - who have purses to fit a 10" device into.... and some significant part are men who carry a sling sack or something.

Everybody probably knows this already, but the new one's name looks tb Galaxy Tab 7.7

Just for confusion's sake, there is at least one other new 7" Galaxy tab in the pipeline, but it only displays 1024x600 instead of the 7.7's 1024x800 and lacks the "Super AMOLED Plus" (whatever that is....) display.

AFIK "Galaxy Tab 7.7" nails it.
