I got my contact numbers transferred from my blackberry into my evo. About a week ago i got the low memory space message on my phone. I looked on applications, and it says my contact storage is 313mb!! I counted my contacts and i have about 100. I think 313mb for contact storage is insane. Other people with about the same contacts have about 8 or 9mb of storage used. Was something done wrong when they transferred the contacts?

Hey i'm not sure about the whole move from blackberry situation but my contacts were using supposedly 160MB and I have about 220 contacts which should still be nowhere near 160MB. The first thing I did was got rid of my facebook sync -- now there you can put the blame on me because I had over 4,000 friends synced with my contacts =/ but that took it down to 130MB and I realized still thats too much. From the directions on this site Clear Storage Space on Your Phone Without Rooting | Android.AppStorm idk what happened but my contacts storage is completely gone yet my contacts are still there (?) Didn't need to do the whole "restore" part and wont complain until something goes wrong i guess. Maybe it's because my contacts are synced through my Gmail but either way my phone isn't complaining about space anymore!

Hope this SOMEWHAT helps SOMEBODY.
