Epic 4G Touch Coming Sept. 16 for $199

do you think the galaxy is going to be a good phone? more batter life and better or as good as the EVO?

If it's anything like the overseas versions it will definitely have a much better battery life than the EVO 4G and EVO 3D. Samsung's Dual-Core Exynos Processor and Super Amoled+ is what's going to make this phone the best.

The Exynos is one of, If not the best in processing power and GPU (Graphics) and the Super Amoled+, imo is the best screen
I've seen on a phone. The colors look amazing! It looks much better than the qHD screens, but the text looks denser on the qHD screens if you're a reader you might prefer the qHD screen.

Besides the new Nexus, there's pretty much no phone that can beat it.

so the nexus is sprints best or the photon? I have till Nov to decide bahahaha

It's out of the Nexus and the Epic Touch, the Photon is a good phone but the Epic Touch is better, the Nexus hasn't had any official specs released so we really don't know how good it will be, but you could never go wrong with the "Pure Google Experience" and the new Android OS "Ice Cream Sandwich".

Samsung has crap support and crap hardware the only thing good on that ohobe will be the processor and screen and imo its not worththe hassle

I could understand the support thing but the hardware is far from crap. Obviously the Screen and the Processor is considered hardware which are the 2 best parts, but also the form factor & camera are better than most phones. And you wouldn't have to worry about Samsung's support if you root it. So that's never been a problem for me

I mean like build quality samsungs phones feel flimsy and plasticky I will give props where props is due it does have a top notch processor and screen but HTC just makes a better all around experience form sense to build quality and the dual core snapdragon is only a hair slower when side by side the s2 from the comparisons I've seen and the adreno 220 gpu is on par with the s2 if not better

Well HTC devices are heavier and "feel" sturdier but I bet that an SGS2 could survive more drops than an HTC EVO 3D or 4G just because of how much heavier it is.

I have 2 Epics in my house and 2 EVOS, both EVOS have cracked screens and one has a missing volume rocker. I have dropped my Epic 5x more than both of the Evos and have barely any scratches (No screen protector or case) and the other Epic just has a little paint chopped off and that's it.

So when it comes down to it the build quality of Samsung Phones are better, but the feel of HTC phones are better. So which one is really more important? Also Sense 3.0 is just big load of bloatware unlike TouchWiz 4.0 which barely takes up any space.

Do not buy this phone until January! New phones are the biggest waste of money on the planet! Just look at the Nexus S4G wasn't that phone $200 4 months ago and now it's FREE.

I'm sure my EVO can make it another 4 months and my wallet will thank me.

yeah, but when January comes around, there would be a better phone.:p:cool:
