Root What kernel to use with synergy

So I'm using the regular synergy not god mode and was wondering if anyone out there knew of another kernel that would give me some extra juice from my battery
And what's the difference between the god mode and regular one should I switch to god?

ok so we only have two kernels for gingerbread sense at the moment. you can try golden monkey 1.1 or the freedom .85 kernels. and with kernels it may vary for you and me. so with that i would make a nandroid backup and start with golden monkey 1.1 then you can try freedom kernel if that does not work for you.

godmode i believe is a script that is supposed to make your rom very fast. not exactly sure how it does it, but my phone hated it. it ran my battery dry. and it takes forever for the rom to install. it took me 45 min or so to boot up. try it out. just be patient.

xda-developers - View Single Post - [ROM] Synergy - [RLS1+GodMode 08/05/2011] - Now With Warm Sprinkles!

Godmode make your phone run faster by changing the file system that is used by the system

" Team Synergy has figured out how to increase file I/O performance on the EVO by replacing the default YAFFS2 filesystem with a YAFFS2+EXT2. Using EXT2 as the file system and YAFFS2 as the wear leveling layer."

I flashed it with no issues and definitely noticed a difference between godemode and rc2. I am runming stock kernel but am also going to try a new 1 for oc/uv. Only took me fifteen min to flash. U should try. Remember to nandroid.

AOSP ROMs aren't that bad, very clean and efficient (especially CM7). If you're looking for pure performance and extended battery life that might be good for you. The only bad thing is that you lose out on the social network integration from Sense (which is SUPER EASY).

Fortunately you can flash GApps (check out the ROMs DL page) to get the Android Market and the Google Apps that we all know and love.

Personally, I'd rather have my UI look more polished and get my Facebook and Twitter synced up with my Google contacts with a total of 3 screen clicks, but that's just me.
