Root LG Optimus V boot loop - can't enter recovery or emergency mode

I just got this phone this morning, and I decided to root it, that went well, I downloaded a ROM manager app I think it was called. and I downloaded a "cynagen?" mod I think, anyway, being a noob at this stuff, I didn't do it in recovery mode, now I have a boot loop. I'm desperate for help, Hurrican Irene is hitting tomorrow and I would really like my phone to be working for emergencys... Thanks all.

Do not use Rom Manager to flash a ROM to your 'V'!!! You can use it to flash your recovery though. If you don't want to brick your phone, please read the many 'How To' s in this forum to do it correctly. The 'V' is a great phone when you have a custom ROM installed.

I love it when an OP ask's for help,fixes the problem on there own,and then leaves us hanging on how they fixed it. Are curiosity needs to be satisfied. It wouldn't hurt to know the fix so we could help someone with the same problem as well.
