I'm getting over 4 megabytes a second download here at work... That's about max I can get... I think you have ISP issues.
People tell me that there physical location has a dramatic speed affect on there downloads with GoDaddy.... I have a direct link to parts of the backbone in Minneapolis.

I am using Comcast here in FL, as for the image, I simply uploaded as an attachment, then I copied link location, but they may take it down, sometimes they do and sometimes they don't, if it is an image I simply wanted to show you quick I will post it like that fast instead of hosting it. If you want that info I will PM you, you can contact them and see, he is really great to work with and works with you. just an offer if you want. I will go try on my desktop and see and will let you know, I am on the laptop now
Yeah, maybe its your geolocation... As you can see in my pic I am hitting 4 times your max bandwidth, lol, from the same file....

EDIT: Also a speed test is usually the closest server to you. Try picking a server in say.... Fargo ND and report the results... BUt thats for another thread all together....

So it's confirmed this does nothing to 4G speeds? No radio or driver updates?
The jury is still out, I would simply like to do if somehow I updated it without knowing, before flashing this,I can't seem to find out how, some are saying they had the 4G Sprint Corp widget in settings before, who knows.
Not what I heard.... I heard it does boost 4G speeds. Are you confusing the charts that DOn and I posted back and forth? Those are landline speeds.

Correct, the reason why I ask is why flash if I don't need too, I know I did not do it manually, and when I check for the update now it does not show up anymore, so either they pulled the update, or mine updated without me knowing, so I was simply curious, to see how do we know if it did update, as I did check the widget in the settings and it does show a 4G corporate widget. is there a way to know if we updated ?? See below

Ok, thats what I thought you meant... Do this...
OPen your favorite root file explorer (Mine is ES File Explorer btw) and then navigate to /device/data/app and look for this file: com.htc.spcscorp4g-1.apk
If you have that in /device/data/app then you took the OTA. If you don't then you didn't.
By device I assume you mean Android/data/ ?? see image attached, does not look like it

The widget I have is a toggle between the Corp 4G and regular Sprint 4G. When you place it on one of your screens it is greyed out so I don't know if it is for a future use or maybe a toggle between a corporate account and regular 4G, if there even is such a distinction.

Well then, there has been some inaccurate information floating about the interwebz! I have no idea what was updated. I saw reports that it was the radio, then saw that no, it was just a software update, then I saw that it was for the Corp 4G...lol, I give up! Maybe there wasn't even an update at all!!!
HaHa, now you know why I really don't want to flash if I don't have too, LOL I seem not to be able to get to the bottom of it, I even heard it was an update for the volume issue, who know, I simply want to know for sure if it was there before, i could be wrong, but I am almost sure, and I know I didn't update, and I also know I do not have the update available anymore, so I have no clue, lol Other than that hope your having a good day, LOL That is why I ask Scott as a developer he will know I am sure.

And I hope your day is going well! I guess we'll find out soon enough what the heck is going on. I've seen posts now from others who say they can't get the update either. Very strange goings on indeed!

You are at /device/sdcard/data/app.... Press the little SD card looking Icon in your screen shot and that will bring you to device root. Then go to data then app. (YOu have to have root enabled in ES File Explorer)

OK, I did not have root enable in the ES F E , ok I do not have that app in there, so I guess I don't have the update, and I still cannot view the update, am I to assume they pulled the update?? if yes then there is no to update I would assume ??
The only thing I can tell you for fact is this (all based off your observations)...
You don't have the update... I don't know why you cant get it. I got it the day it was released and pulled it from the app database and then integrated it into my ROM. I can make a special update package for you if you need but my only request is that we take any further discussion about this update on the Stock ROM out of the thread as I am afraid people will read all of this and it will become confusing. You can start a new thread on the update and I will help you there or you can PM me. What ever works for you is fine for me.
No sweat bro, I will simply flash the update, but I can tell you that others in the none rooted section are also saying that they cannot see the update anymore, so who knows, thanks bud

If you received the OTA automatically, I would think checking your HBOOT version would be a good way to see, right? That OTA, as you told me yesterday, included an update to HBOOT version 1.50.
So, logically, if you got the OTA applied automatically, you would have HBOOT version 1.50. Just some food for thought.

No, thats not the discussion we are having. We are talking about the HTC Software update that comes out after the hboot. It came out a few days after. BUt that brings me to another question...
Don, did you take the hboot 1.5 update? IF not thats why you wont see the HTC update of 8/26.
