Root Phone storage space is getting low? sd card is partitioned, 1gb

Anyone help? My SD card is partitioned to 1gb but I'm getting the low storage space icon on my phone, there was 2 of them on the bar at the top but one has went away after I deleted some apps. Still got another one but have nowhere near 1gb of apps. Probably not even 100mb.

Can anyone shed some light in this for me.

Thanks.

Hi folks, thanks for the replys.

Using Quick system info it reads as follows

SD card storage
total13.95gb, free 9.77gb

A2SD
total 0.96gb Free 610mb

System storage
Total 250mb Free5.95mb

System cache
total 202mb free 202mb

Memory
total 405mb Free 78.91mb, idle: 8.18mb

It would appear I do have more than 100mb of apps but nowhere near my limit.

I'm using ROM

[ROM][Sense 2.1+3.0mix][02 June]RCMix S v2.0 Evolutionary Sense

[ROM][Sense 2.1+3.0mix][02 June]RCMix S v2.0 Evolutionary Sense - xda-developers

I had the 2 storage space icons on my phone today and realised one of them was because my text messages were full even tho I emptied them the other day. Its away now after I deleted all texts leaving me with the one storage space icon.

Also is it normal for this ROM to be slower than the stock 2.2 I was using before I rooted? I've noticed it's deffently slower.

ps. Is the memory results I've posted my RAM? Dont understand why lots of it is being used when I don't have much running on the phone:thinking:

Thanks

No no, if you like that rom im sure its fine. Its just a gui application to better manage your ext space. By default, your dalvik cache is on internal memory (where other a2sd solutions move it by default) but you can download that app and move it and save a load of space.

So I should download A2SDGUI and move the dalvik cache? Is it normal for this rom to be slower? I'm thinking I might just change to something faster, its only my second rom so maybe I should familiarize myself with other roms now.

Thanks again.
