Root Bionic Boot Animation Now Available

doesn't seem to work with liquid 2.6. i keep getting installation aborted on cwr.

any ideas?

It does not install in cwr, you have to do it manually.

Copy the bootanimation to data/local using root explorer. Be sure to rename the old one to bootanimation.bak or something first, then paste the new one in.

Copy the sound file if you want (though its lame) to System/media/audio/notifications.

Reboot.

Enjoy.

Having a droid x, I don't feel worthy enough to install the bionic boot animation. On another note. I live in NJ. Concerned about the approaching storm. Sorry to be OT. Please don't respond to this. Just letting off steam/concern to my friends in this section.

It's just an animation..install it and try it out! :)

As for the storm, it will hit my part of VA tonight. I'm glad I don't live close to the river. :/

Got animation working but sound won't play, I've tried several times now to paste it into notifications, my old animation was stock CM with no sound could that have something to do with it?
Put the sound in the system/media along with the bootanimation.zip and put it in the system/media/audio/notifications folder. Thats what worked for me.

I kinda agree with that sentiment, but I also just really like my current "Call of Android" animation...
