Root [CDMA] [ROM] CleanROM 2.3 - 9/3/11- GB 2.3.4 - Cleaner Than Ever!

I just downloaded this ROM. d/l speed was brought into question earlier... I had no issues. 3.6MB/sec. Pretty fast.

Ok, time to test my NANDroid backups... then I'll flash. I'm running stock and I'm going to assume I don't need to do a /data wipe. But if I run into issues, I will.

2.2 no mods TB restore apps only no system data this happened to me before and Obama not worried about it. Don't feel like doing a full wipe maybe tomorrow

Yeah, the server this ROM is hosted on is fast. This is my premium server... For the Stock Rooted Only ROM its on my domain server which can be slower for some people.

And you know how I feel about nandroid back ups. You should have no issues but if you see issues certainly wipe fresh!

Why would Obama care? lol Im assuming that was supposed to be honestly? lol

If you want to try the wipe and reinstall, test it out before TI Back up. I am sure that is causing a conflict with something.

Who would have ever thought that Obama would have been confused with anything honest???? Anyway, I will flash 2.2 and let you know. I just haven't had time or I would have already.

I have a minor issue and was wondering if this is happening to anyone else.

If my phone is powered completely off, and plugged into the wall charging, it will not power back on when pressing the on button. Only of I unplug it can I get it to power back on.

I am enjoying cleanrom.:)

if I use TB to restore apps only and the only system data I want is my home screens, do you know what I look for in TB restore for just that?

Thanks, I am a little confused as I thought the gingerbread keyboard is included in this rom. The screen shots show a themed keyboard. How do I get the ones from screen shots in cleanrom?

Hmmmm... Not ROM related if the phone is shut off, lol.

But... This has been noted as a glitch before one the Stock ROM. It used to do it to me every once in a while. Someone even reported that they ahve to wait 20 minutes to turn the phone back on.

Also, do you deplete the batter to 0% or is it doing this at different battery levels?

I have this happen to me fairly frequently. I've noticed that sometimes it'll work when you just hold the power button down for longer (sometimes as much as 20-30 seconds) and try a few times.

Ive been pretty lucky. I have only had it happen like 5 times since launch day. The first time it happened the phone was 48hrs old and I almost pooped my pants!

It happens pretty regular for me whenever I performed a nandroid (TWRP) and I had the reboot automatically checked after nandroid is complete. It happened sort of one time after I unchecked but what it did was somehow (I HAVE NO IDEA HOW) but somehow booted into the bootloader screen. The only thing I can think of is it went into the black screen no power no reaction, finally when I pressed some button, I guess the power button eventually it powered up and I just happened to be holding volume key down. Very Strange indeed:(??? Just a guess, really not for certain why it came on, usuallyhave to pull battery and manually get to bootloader. Oh I usually use the Superwipe but I have tested wiping manually using factory reset and dalvik and cache three times so I know it's not the Superwipe.

I remember reading that if you rooted with Revolutionary this is how they set it up. I'll look for the link when I'm done with boot animations, (which could take a while) Don't remember if I read it here or in XDA.
 
Ok don't know if this is Rom related but when I turn off on my 3G with Juice Defender widget, my 4G comes on. I don't remember this happening with Viper & I flashed to stock & tried it, didn't happen. Also, I don't think data goes off when I'm on wifi. The wifi icon disappears from the notification bar but when I look in quick settings it still on. Don't know if data is on or if it's a "glitch".

Edit: Forgot to mention, when I reboot 4G comes on. OK, that's it.

LOL my bad, didn't mean to imply I do them, just trying to get one I found online on my phone, I do wanna learn how though, got a lot of ideas floating in my head. Right now I don't even have half the software I need to do em.

As a matter of fact...I have been depleting to 0. Does this cause it?
