I'm trying to root my phone. through z4root. and it's not letting me -_-

If you're running 2.2 Froyo you need Gingerbreak, not Z4Root.

You have to flash a custom ROM, namely Cyanogen Mod 7 (CM7), look through the stickies in the All Things Root subforum for all your needs.

It's not necessary to make multiple threads discussing the same thing... You need to check your other thread and follow the instructions you were given there.
