I'll be surprised. If they won't show iPhone 5 today, they will in next few months, it is just a trap for Android world - Android fans are now cellebrating 'fail', Google unveils Nexus Prime, and everybody think it's just the end of Apple succes.

And then they announce iPhone 5 that simply shatters Android world in dust. I'm afraid it is going to happen soon. Apple is not stupid, they now what Google tries to achieve.

Believe me.

It's not like phone improvements are going to stop and wait for Apple after the Nexus Prime. There will be a better phone a month after that, then the next month, and so on. I don't see any way the iPhone5 could be anything more than another upgrade that will keep it current with android.

Is this a thread about Prime speculation or the iPhone5 speculation? My stomach is churning every time I read another pointless comment about a phone that NONE of the real "androiders" will buy. Personally, I don't think it matters if it comes out with a holographic display that shows a real time 3d image of the person you're talking to, I'm getting the prime. With the future of Android, I'd bet there would be a work around for that mod in order to beam that person you're talking to to your house and it'll take snapple a year or so before they could do it. Can we please get back to this awesome new piece of technology changing equipment instead of a slightly upgraded phone please?

Problem is Apple with it's 'improvements' always makes a little revolution. They develop 'own' chip which is always much stronger than any available at this current moment.

Agree....I will also go so far to say that this 4S thing is going to backfire on them BIG TIME. People are not stupid no matter how rabid a fan they are of the platform. Matter of fact the more rabid the fan the bigger the backlash if the product fails to meet expectations.

Prediction: Apple fans revolt and leave the platform for Android in record numbers.

I don't know about that. I've been looking at some of the iPhone forums just now, and I'm SHOCKED at their attitudes. 9 times out of 10 it's

"Well, I expected something different, but I still can't wait to get the 4S!"

It's appalling.

Then what do you mean apple "develops their own chip"? The A5 is developed and made by Samsung. Last I check, Apple wasn't in the semiconductor fab buisness.

But until iPhone5 comes out, Prime will steal some of disappointed iFolks. And by the time iPhone5 comes out, there will be SGSIII with monster spec to go against it. So I'm not worried about iPhone5.
