After Market Battery Cover for Bionic?

So the Bionic has been out for a little bit, and I'm wondering if anyone has come across an after market Battery cover that is more like the DROID X's? As in metal? The OEM battery door IMO is terrible. Even in the vzw silicon case I feel and hear creaks and what not, stuff like this drives me nuts. I'd love a tight fitting, very strong plastic (like the DROID Charge) or an aluminum or metal door like the OG DROID, or DROID X.

Anyone see anything yet?

Was just thinking about posting something related to this "creaky" ass battery door... I too would like to know if there is a fix for this?

In my experience the creakiness comes from the cover not having been seated properly, go around the whole perimeter with your thumb applying hard pressure and you will feel it snapping properly and then you should not have that creakiness feeling anymore.

I had a cover that was creaky no matter how well it was seated. My dad's cover wasn't. While he wasn't looking, I switched ours, and now neither cover creaks. Gotta love that, but if it works, it's good.

I'd pay quite the sum of money for a thin aluminum battery cover(must accommodate the extended battery of course) or something that didn't creak for the Bionic. The entire reason I use a case(I prefer to use my phones naked) is so I don't feel the creaking.

Same here, even with 2 different battery covers! No dice, still got some creaks on the corners and what not! Thin metal or aluminum would eliminate those creaks all together.

Mine creaks as well and it drives me nuts. I'm certain the cover is properly in place. I've been thinking of taking it back to Costco for an exchange, but I don't want to seem neurotic.
