Hey all.
I am relatively new to smart"er" phones. I had the biggest smile on my face as the Verizon rep started demonstrating the Droid to me.
It started by my saying I would switch to an Iphone if it weren't for AT&T's crummy network. To which he replied why wouldn't you geta Droid? It's better than an Iphone.
Walked out of the store 30 minutes later with my very own. With an even bigger smile on my face.
After leaving the store, almost a week ago, my smile has faded a bit; but still happy with the new phone - mostly.
I have been using the internet alot to search for "solutions" to issues I have come across with my Droid.
Today, I wanted to know what all the icons indicated at the top of my Droid, so I searched "droid notification icons" and landed in this forum chat room. There was a post referencing a screen shot of the icons left by "Phases". That was nice and helpful.
In order to see the screen shot, however, I had to register. So here I am now registered. I have a feeling that this forum will be my friend.
Thanks to Rob and Phases, et. al. for their efforts. Much appreciated. Glad you are HERE.
