Ok so I need to send my phone back for warranty. I used a zip file off my computer but it was 2.2, I'm now unrooted but not up to date. It started downloading a 87mb file which I'm gonna assume was 2.3 when it was done nothing happened. I hit reboot and install but it just set there not doing anything still the same screen, so I turned it off. Now it shows 2.2 and says software up to date! I've tried *228 both 1&2 still no luck. Any idea. Or know of a good link so I can flash 2.3

You don't need to run unrevoked again.

Flash clockwork

Flash s-on

Flash stock recovery

Download gingerbread

Rename 5059e5b6c5b2.OTA_Incredible_C_Gingerbread_S_VERIZO N_WWE_4.08.605.2-3.26.605.1_release_222220.zip to update.zip and place on the root of your SD card. Power the phone down and enter hboot by holding volume down and power. If not prompted, navigate into recovery and select to update from update.zip. Sometimes this update gives an error and presents you with a red triangle. If this happens, press volume up and the power button to get to the menu and select to run the update.zip again. Reboot the phone.

Done. No root. Gingerbread. S-on.

Edit: I just have one bit of disclaimer for you. If you're sending the phone in for warranty, once you get it back you will not be able to EASILY obtain root again if you upgrade it to gingerbread. You may want to just return s-on then flash the stock recovery back. This way, if you receive the same phone with 2.2 back, you can re-root it and gain s-off in case you ever want to re-root again in the future. There is no s-off exploit in gingerbread.
