Asked this on DroidForums as well: why the heck do they keep blocking out the UPC in these screenshots?

here is the upc for the gsm flavor 8806071676975

we also know the verizon model number is SCH-i515MSV

I'm sure if we can find the upc's for a model samsung also sells both in cdma/lte and gsm flavor the offset would be similar

Yeah, I agree. My main reason for even wanting them is to legitimize these Best Buy leaks, although the item number in the screenshot should be enough for that.

Aside from that, it's just curiosity. It seems odd to block that out and not block the item number out.

I wonder if the aftermarket will be able to provide this, or will whatever NFC-related tech in the battery make this less likely/possible?

I don't know if this will be offered, but I'm not as worried since the phone does have the pins on the side with docks designed for charging without a direct micro-USB connection. Effectively the same concept, no?

The Nexus pic is really overexposed and washed out. The brightness from the sky is overwhelming the building in the distance and all other surfaces and textures are too light and washed out. Again, can be adjusted out.

Is there a way on phones to adjust settings and keep them as default for future pics? Can there be multiple custom settings (i.e. day, night, action, etc.)?

My problem with talking about setting adjustments on phone cameras is that for most of us average joes, the phone's camera is used for a spur-of-the-moment event. When I want to get a picture of my kid's touchdown run, I don't have time to make adjustments on the fly. I need to turn on the phone and take the picture, quality be damned. In this common situation, the auto settings of the iPhone are typically better than others.

Having said that, I expect from the Nexus sample photos I have seen, that next season's pictures will turn out MUCH better than the ones I got this season with the X2.

Ok soo the same ole same ole....

I am actually on contract with ATT and was going to switch to have the 4G LTE and the Nexus.... But now with word that the ATT version went through the FCC im starting to change my tune a bit.

Plus with ATT I have unlimited data for like $26/month. Decisions Decisions....

Personally, if I were you, I'd probably stay with my AT&T plan, but...

VZW is offering the 4GB for $30 deal still and they have already informed 3G users with unlimited plans that they may be capped or slowed if data usage passes 5 GBs so theoretically the current offer is the same deal with the exception that "4GB" on paper looks more finite than "UNLIMITED (with conditions)".

I figured out a way around these darn HIDE tags. All you have to do is get rid of your signature and then type a row of underscores in your post followed by whatever you want to say. I've seen several signatures that appear to be off topic, but they're sigs!

It does look nice. I just don't know that I would ever use it. I usually just put my phone in the cup holder. I can see myself using the desktop dock, or the HDMI dock more.

Apparently it is a different screen shot than the one earlier this week. My question is - maybe I am just not seeing it there, but I don't see Galaxy Nexus or SCH-i515 anywhere on that screen shot

The size and weight look correct, but that could be anything (unless I am just not seeing it)
