I posted this in another thread but I know a lot of people are pulling the trigger right now and I wanted to post this where it might be seen quicker and save people money. Hope this is not a problem, not trying to spam or anything.

Well actually quite a few threads have started about the 35% off all accessories, but I was specifically pointing out the bundle that was already on sale that the discount still applied to. $89 package for $35 is too good to pass up for people who just got their Droid but are having a hard time choosing which accessories to buy.

Very glad it came in handy though, I just can't take credit for finding the deal you got, but glad my thread pointed you in that direction.

Wow, this is a score. I already bought them both separately. Is it possible to return them to the store if I bought them online?
I'm not sure. Depends when you bought them but I think you have 30 days. I would call them, tell them that you are going to return them and purchase the bundle, they may refund the difference to your card to save themselves the expense. Either way I would guess you would have to pay shipping back to them, not sure.

I just looked at their site and it says:

I would call them, tell them that you are going to return them and purchase the bundle, they may refund the difference to your card to save themselves the expense. Just called them. They wouldn't refund the difference, something about their online website being separate pricing from their stores and call-in. They did offer to send me a free car charger, but I declined when he told me I could either ship them back or return them at my local Verizon store. I think that is what I'll do. Return them both to the store and order the bundle for $10 less.

I spoke with someone online about just shipping me the charger and adjusting the price. Treating the order as one that wasn't fully shipped. The person I spoke with wasn't helpful at all simply stating all I could do was return what I ordered and place a new one due to "promotions changing daily". I told her that made no sense as it was under the same promotion I placed the first order under.

I guess I'll just have to order the bundle and return the docks I bought first. And since I placed it on bill-to-account they'll just adjust the price, which is the same damn thing I was asking them to do in the first place. I love Verizon's service but I really hate having to deal with any type of support through them.

Now I just hope my local store will take pack the items, as shipping them back would completely negate the savings on the new bundle.

Actually, it is free to ship them back. There is a fedex return label already included in your packaging. Just bring your box to fedex with the label and they should take it from there, no charge to you. The guy I spoke with also said that the store would take them back, so it is up to you which method you would use to return the items.

Do they charge a restock fee? It says they charge $35 for returned phones in their return policy faq, but it doesn't mention accessories.

Please post what the restocking fee is (if any). I would also be interested in ordering the bundle, for CHEAPER than I ordered the dock and mount for. They also were trying to charge $10 for the overnight shipping.

I guess it serves me right for trying to take advantage of deals while I am at work. :rolleyes:
