i was looking for a virtual assistant and came across an SVOX video

stupidly i downloaded it with out reading into it
the video was very unclear and did not state that you needed a 3rd part app to use the voice and it wasn't actually SVOX that was doing any of tasks they asked.
Now i tried downloading different Virtual assistants and jennie seems to be the best one apart from the fact it misses phrases that the stock android voice recognition picks up.
and none of them seem to do what they SVox demo video does.
can anyone tell me if the video was just over selling the app or can i get a virtual assistant that i can ask to read out my appointment and text messages just by asking

... at first sight i though it was a very nice application but after i read your post i doubt.. i suggest you to hire a real VA..
