Help Issues setting up an IMAP account

I currently have 1 IMAP account on my phone and now I am trying to add another one. I go under Accounts and Sync and choose Add Account. I select Microsoft Exchange Activesync. I type in my email address and password and click on Manual Setup. At this point it is supposed to ask me what kind of email account it is but it goes straight into Exchange account. I also tried this checking the box Set as premium account and it also tries to setup an exchange account. Help!!

This may be a samsung issue. I am still researching but have found at least one other person with the same issue

That persons work around worked. Thanks! I thought I was going crazy.
