Root Looking for a program from sense

I had a widget in sense that let me fill it with pictures, and scroll through them... It was called picture frame I believe. Anyway there is an app in CM7 that doesn't do anything close, and I've tried several market apps that don't do the trick either. So I wanna find a widget that allows me to install a bunch of pics and scroll through them, like a picture frame.

Any ideas?

Ok I downloaded the app, opened it up, loaded the pics blah blah, but when I look for it in my widget list it wasn't there. That's the 5th widget I've downloaded that won't show up in my widget list.

Is there a setting I've changed somewhere in CM7 that blocks widgets? Maybe in Go Launcher?

Your issue is Go Launcher not your widgets. I also have Go Launcher Love it best thing out there. However it does not use all widgets Some are "Sense Laucher" specific or atleast that is what I have found.

Actually all I had to do is move the widget back to the phone and it loaded great. Only problem is that I've tried 17 apps and none of them do what I want them to do. Is there anyway for me to get the original photo frame back from gingerbread?

is it an app? if its an app i'm sure you can you may just have to go into the system folder and find it and copy it to your sd card. or it could be in the data apps folder just flash the rom that it was on (DO A NANDROID FIRST)
once you have it on your card just go back to recovery and restore the nandroid.

if thats all your planning you can usually exit out of the setup wizard by hitting the home key.

Ok but how do i know which app it is, because I still have an app with the same name, but completely different functionality.

In sense there was a picture frame widget, you could add as many pics as you wanted, it autofit the screen size, and you swiped your finger to change pics.

How who you go about looking for that app? Would it be in my original nandroid?

Ok theres no way for me to look through the nandroid. What I think I need to do is pull the app off a gingerbread rom and install it, and maybe that's what you suggested, but I have no idea how to do that. If this was my blackberry I'd be the giving the advice, but android is a bit more complicated.

its possible its in the original nandroid. as far as finding out what the app name is really your just going to have to figure it out. may have to google the names to see what the app is and keep doing it until you find the app your looking for.
