I recently purchased the Galaxy S2 (unlocked, international). I am very dissappointed by the lack of support for languages requiring Unicode. How does a state-of-the-art smartphone running on a platform that rivals Apple fail to read a variety of fonts and texts? I know, for example, that Apple's OS X supports Unicode out of the box. I have searched this forum and the net and found no realistic solution. Currently, "there's no app for that" unless someone's got good news for me.
To be specific, I want to read ancient Greek texts, which uses diacritics (accents and breathing marks). On the Apple OS, the language is "Greek (polytonic)."
Can anyone help with this issue? If necessary, how could all of us who are feeling the Unicode blues get Android to come up with a solution?
