Could not stay away after getting a taste the previous two times. Even though the camera was junk I said screw it and went out at lunch from work today to return the iPhone 4s which I picked up after returning the second Nexus.
Immediate thoughts...
1. Camera seems better...I dont think it's in my head either because the pics are sharper than before! I would say it seems to be maybe 35% better indoors also.
2. Battery life seems great right off from the start, nothing like the previous 2 Nexus. The second Nexus I had did have good battery life also but took a few days to get there.
3. This 3rd Nexus seems a lot more "choppy" than the previous two. I have had a few brief freezes here and there and scrolling between home screens has some choppiness to them unlike the other two. I am thinking of doing a complete wipe of it and resetting everything as I have read some people have done that also when th phone was new and had good results.
4. There is no getting away from this thing now. i could not stop thinking of it since I retuned it the day before Christmas. I would come here and post everyday so that kept me drooling aftwards. When I sold my iPhone 4 I gave the brand new headphones that came with the 4s to the person who bought my 4. Started looking for all the 4s paperwork and everything that came its it and was like oh shit I gave the headphones away(either that or my kids took em which they said they did not) and now I can't return it! Ended up going to the apple store before best buy and buying a pair of earbuds for the $30 so I would be able to return the 4s then
