So, I think sometime in April is more likely even with all the recent leaks. But, I don't know more than anyone.

So thinking about the dates and how Verizon was at MWC this past month brings me to question.... Where they going to announce the phone at MWC to be released on the 7th of march and Verizon was like ugly back plate change it and up the camera add HD capture and where set... i know i had mentioned that before once in this thread... and since they where there they needed something to announce so they just announced there skype feature... now maybe they will announce the phone at CTIA in march and be ready for us in april? all just thoughts and theorys

i just thought of one more thing. i thought htc was going to announce 5 new phone at mwc (3 android, 2 winmo) i only remeber hearing about 3 new phones announce at wmc.. please someone correct me if i missed the other 2 with all the limelight the desire, legend and hd2 mini got

it passed on feb 2nd from what i remember so the 7th would make it almost 5 weeks since passing. one thing that is strange is that it will be launching on a sunday when someone said verizon launches most of their stuff on tuesdays

I don't think there is a set day for launching phones on Verizon. The Eris and Droid launched on a Friday for example. I dont see a major phone launching on a Sunday, Monday maybe.

Ask and you shall receive, the HTC Paradise is a 240x400 screen phone with a qwerty keyboard and 2048x1216 res camera, so not the Incredible.

yeah, i don't see us hearing squat until then. all the flickr accounts that were found in the last few days have removed all their pictures or deleted their accounts. HTC is going dark.

It appears so. In another sense it give me a good feeling because it shows us all that it was legitimate information from a legitimate source if they had to resort to those measures. If we had any doubts.

Also, just wanted to point out that this may be the Supersonic after all. If you look at individual frames of the enhanced video, you will notice a slight white ring around the buttons... it's quite possible that they added an optical trackpad to the Supersonic since the renders we've seen. 0:11 seconds in 720p gives the best shots of those rings.

Wow great news! wish i could have been apart of all the excitement! But with the phone being in Verizon's inventory, does that give us a more specific time frame to wait?

and i am on the fence with the video...sometimes it looks like the Incredible, while other it looks like the Supersonic...has anyone thought to compare the size to the HD2?

I mean with a 4.3 screen, why would one need an optical pad, correct?

I think what nevvsradio is suggesting....is that THE NAME will be different. NOT that the phone itself will not be released.

And I certainly hope that I'm right on both accounts. Since I'm:

A) VERY interested in this particular phone, and

B) NOT real crazy about the name.

I think this phone has the potential to rival the Apple iPhone, Motorola Droid, Google Nexus One, etc. as one of THE best smartphones out there. But as it is....it seems to be marketed more so for kids and young adults than for older adults and business professionals. I mean...a red back (ugh)...256 MB of RAM (?) and a name like "Incredible"? Change the back cover to black to match the front, make it 512 MB of RAM, and give it a better name....and this one could very well be THE phone of 2010 that I will definitely consider calling my own!
