Replacing dummy parts with real parts in a display G1?

I bought a G1 off of eBay, and I was wondering if it was possible to replace the dummy display parts in it with real ones. Please, no sarcasm, that's not what I need right now. Thanks.

Let me get this straight: the G1 you bought turned out to be a demo unit w/o an actual electronics? There's no end to the rudeness of some people...

If that is the case, I'm afraid you'd be better off buying a new, real phone. Even if you could get the individual replacement parts, you'd need more or less everything except the outer shell. There is probably no electronics in it whatsoever, just the outer pieces and a lead weight.

File a claim with ebay and if you use PayPal a complaint via PP is all you need to do ... (depending on the ebay posting) ... did you read it closely ... post the listing here so others can be aware of this fraud and scam ...
